a half tree 😂 although the ‘ho ho’ ‘deer’ and the presents get thrown around the room like toys daily. - and the tree did look much nicer and more even but despite my efforts the toddler still managed to climb up on the sofa, put the beads around her neck and pull the tree down on herself so now it’s a bit wonky and sad. - great tree if I had somewhere to put it that wasn’t next to the sofa 💀

Your half tree is the most adorable tree I've ever seen...no wonder your little one is so intrigued...bless her..she just can't help herself especially with beads being involved.

Wow, lovely tree...just imagine what all the ornaments have seen over the years...and aren't you the patient one to put the tinsel icicles on so perfectly! I used to take a handful,, stand back and throw them at our tree...it drove my poor Dsis crazy!

Ours is finally up, 5 year old DS given full artistic licence over the decorations for the first time.

Love that we've collected enough random ones over the last decade that DH and I have been together that we no longer need any of the "fillers" that we bought to decorate our first tree.

Currently wrestling a dinosaur bauble from two year old DS.....

I've finally finished our tree! It took me a lot longer than last year's passionfruit vines/windmill number because the vines weren't suitable so I had to come up with a different plan. I have a juniper tree that needed trimming so I took the trimmed bits, wrapped the ends in wire and attached them to the windmill frame. Downside, it took 3 days, upside my house smells like a freshly cut Christmas tree

This is mine, aside from a few special shop bought ones, every ornament has been handmade by me (I broke my ankle last summer and was bed bound, crochet kept me sane 😂 ish) I was trying to recreate all the super colourful ornaments me Nan had in the 80's.
