My 9 year old girl wants a football, disney princess football kit and nintendo switch, i know she would love that radio controlled batman car and among us action figures, roblox action figures and minecraft. She also loves everything Lego.

My 8 year old girl wants pokemon cards, lego cards (if that's a thing?), lego, roblox nerf guns, among us, nintendo switch lite, anything STEM science kit, heelys, lego mario and minecraft, minecraft smartwatch, tablet. She had a skateboard last year which she loves, and I've got her some inline skates this year. She mentioned she wanted an electric scooter, hoverboard, mobile and a motorbike... she may be a little disappointed haha.

They aren't very girly girls so I don't know if that's any help!

My turning 8 yr old wants dragons, books, and books about dragons.

She is also still very into barbie and would dearly love the dream plane

She also wants a real bearded dragon pet. She's getting a book on bearded dragon care, and we'll see how well prepared she is at Christmas

DD will be 8 just before Christmas and she's obsessed with Barbie. She'll be getting a barbie farm set, barbie camper van, barbies galore lol.
Shes also getting a dinosaur fingerling (she loves dinosaurs) and a she-ra dress up costume, as well as things like slime, Bath bombs, crafty bits.
And an oculus but that's a family present as its so expensive.

Nearly 9 y o DD wants a Switch, Harry Potter Lego and a hamster. Oh and a mini gumball machine apparently.

There’s a possibility of a Switch (though it’s more than I’d usually spend on a Christmas present) - but not so much of a hamster. I can’t stand the bitey little sods 😂

A pet (not going to happen)

I feel you. Same here. I’d love a cat myself but our house is too small for an indoor cat, and we are too close to several big main roads - our local Facebook group is always full of reports of squashed cats 🙁

DD would ideally like a dog but I am not a dog person and there is No Chance that I am ever going to pick up warm dog poo in a plastic bag.

Dd2 is 9, last year was all about lol dolls. She still loves them and has asked for one of the omg ones (barbie sized). She has quite a few already so might get grandparents to buy the one she's asked for.

But we are going for a hair styling head with tripod and accessories. (A proper one like hairdressers would use) as she loves doing hair and it's something else to fiddle with!!

She also likes playing games, so have got her a compendium of classic games, blockus, and looking at some card games too.

Bits for her room (we are moving soon so will have her own room for the 1st time!).

An oodie type hoodie as she loves mine.

Some beauty bits like face masks, nail varnish.

Squishmallow cuddly toy and a new llama cuddly (her favourite animal!)

Then ordered some fidget toys and jewellery bits from shein for her stocking.

foxgoosefinch you could always get a small rodent as a pet. We have a mouse. He's called Julius Cheezer and all of the kids love him

Nearly 9yo DD wants...
Her own Warhammer army
A robot
Echo Dot
Lego (Harry Potter or Lego Friends, or even just a massive box)
Anything giraffe related

Lego dots
Fairy lights for her room
Jaqueline Wilson books (I think we’ll start with Hetty Feather)
Full length mirror (this is my idea, so she doesn’t barge into my room to use mine)
Board game (again, my idea. There’s only so many times I can play hungry hippos, jenga and Kerplunk)
Glow in the dark nail varnish

My 8.5 year old dd has asked for a Tie Dye kit, Slime making kit, loom band kit, dreamseeker doll and fidget toys! She was all about LOLs and barbie last Christmas and I’m surprised she hasn’t asked for any this time though she still likes them.

Lego, Lego and more Lego!

I’ve already bought her a hair styling head as she getting into doing more elaborate things with her hair (and I also figured it would help me out if she could learn how to do some styles on her younger sister!) and a Hype rucksack for school. Will also get her a gemstone dig kit and a beginner knitting kit.

Other ideas are calligraphy set, Fimo (standard gift every birthday and Christmas as she uses LOADS of the stuff!), Gemex kit, donut/waffle maker, watch/fitness tracker, poloroid camera, sewing machine. She won’t get it all obviously…some will save till next birthday/Christmas! Roller blades were the big hit last birthday.

My 8yo dd is getting an oodie and a switch as main gifts.

Skateboard was a popular gift for my eldest dd at that age.

I DS is just 9 & he loves crafting stuff. Mostly figures/models made from wire & plasticine. He uses florists wire & has had a pair of wire snips for about 6 months & is very careful (so far). He's asked for clay modelling tools & equipment for Christmas.

My DD was also really crafty at that age but much more into fimo which she had little plates of food, toys etc for her barbies.

Lego is still very well loved here as well.
