Remember the fun you used to have on two wheels, and the freedom your bike gave you? Why not rekindle that feeling and fall back in love with your bike? Sky has teamed up with British Cycling to help you get back on your bikes and enjoy cycling as a fun and exciting activity, whatever your age or ability.

Sky Ride City

Sky Ride City events are a nationwide series of summer events to encourage people to get back on their bikes. In 2010, over 200,000 people took part in free-mass participation rides all over the UK.
This year, it's going to be even bigger and you can be part of it! We're coming to city centres up and down the country, giving you the freedom to ride traffic-free streets, and experience cycling in a whole new way.

Sky and British Cycling have teamed up to get one million people back on their bikes by 2013 and for many people this summer's events will be just the beginning of the journey. It's a perfect family day out, and best of all it's free.

Sky Ride Local

Sky Ride believes that cycling is a great way to maintain an enjoyable, healthy lifestyle. There are a number of ways for you to get involved from small local rides, to big city rides with no traffic and training and bike maintenance courses.

If you like the idea of getting back on your bike, Sky Ride Local offers the opportunity to take part in small, weekly community bike rides, giving you a chance to get out and explore your local area on wheels. These are perfect for beginners or those looking to improve their cycle confidence.

Sky Ride Local Rides are led by a British Cycling-trained ride leader who is on hand to provide support and give you tips on how to improve your cycling, whatever your age or ability.

Breeze and Cycletta

British Cycling's Breeze is a brand new national network of fun, informal bike rides specifically for women. Led by women for women, it's for those of us who may not have been on a bike for while or would like to get out for a bike ride with just a small group of women who live near them.

Cycletta, supported by Sky Ride, is a series of women-only cycling events that - at 40km - are a bit more challenging than our other events, but still take place on fully closed roads.
