"Lovely quiet, small campsite: friendly and good for kids…"
We stayed here last summer for a couple of nights and found it very friendly - lovely for families looking for a chilled out camping break in the Cotswold countryside. The toilet block and showers are great too, very modern and clean. There is a tiny children's play area, but it's a lovely small site so easy for kids to make friends and for you to still be able to keep an eye on them! You can hire a fire pit and buy logs from the site owners for £5 a night. A very short walk takes you onto Minchinhampton village itself where there is a decent village shop and 2 or 3 nice cafes. Best pub is a walk up to the common and a visit to the Old Lodge, which is also kid friendly.
