The location is wonderful! It is right next to the beach so that you hear the waves as you drift off. Just a warning that it would be very hard to access this beach if you were disabled as the steps are very steep. You can see the lighthouse at Southwold from the beach. We were camped under the trees in the Old Sunken Garden. I really enjoyed the feel of the campsite. There is a nice children's playground by the bar so we were able to enjoy a drink while the children played. We also ate in the restaurant and the service and food were lovely.
Cliff House is in a fantastic location , with direct access to the beach. There are cliff top views, heathland and cycle trails to the near by towns on the doorstep.. Family friendly restaurant and little shop are really handy. And can definitely recommend the Ship Inn if you're looking for a pub nearby 😉.
