"like a country fair with great music !!!!!…"
I am a single parent and I went with my four year old twins - I wanted to see how I could manage truth be told and decided this was the best one to try (with a God Mother down the road in Charlbury…who had a broken angle so couldn't come at the last minute!) - I decided to go for it and take the kids alone - and had a wonderful time! High lights were the arts tent for the kids - the Great Tew School mums tea tent - we ate cake and drank tea for an hour and a half - we also enjoyed lots of (costly) fair ground rides - helper skelter and the like but the real highlight was swaying …and it has to be said rocking it out along to 10 CC - I knew all the words!!!! Legends!!! Me and a lot of middle aged men in Tom Petty and the Heatbreakers T shirts - not sure I quite tasted true festival life - Glastonbury this aint (from all accounts - never been) but it was a great garden party - with sensible parking and lots of people not on drugs saying please and thank you when they bumped into you - my kind of place!!!
"Something for everyone…"
great chilled festival, feels really safe to let the older kids wonder off and explore and lots for the little ones to do, from bongo classes to craft. good bands and great food, nice family camping space too. bit pricy for a weekend ticket though
