"Wild and beautiful spot…"
We had a short break here, staying in the farmhouse. It was a beautiful peaceful spot, overlooking the wild moors. The house itself was cosy and full of character. The owner runs pottery lessons which would have been great if our kids were a little older. There's a little play area with sandpit and slide, lots of beautiful wildlife nearby to excite the children. This setting is perfect for a short break if you want to get away from it all, there are things to do nearby but everything was a bit of a drive so I think a few days was fine, but a longer stay would have been more of a challenge. A very peaceful and cosy spot overall though.
