Ultrasun wins Mumsnet Rated

Applying sun cream to a child

Children’s skin is more sensitive to UV damage than adults, so it's important to always make sure it's protected during the summer months. For wriggly babies and children that just want to dash off and play, finding a sun cream that is easy to apply - as well as highly protective - is key. According to Mumsnet users, Ultrasun's products do both, which is why they've been awarded the Mumsnet Rated badge

What is Ultrasun?

Ultrasun offers sensitive  sun protection from harmful UVA, UVB and Infrared A rays. All products are hypoallergenic with no emulsifiers, perfume or parabens, reducing the risk of allergy. Babies and children can be prone to heat rashes during hot or humid weather because their sweat glands are not fully developed. Ultrasun’s products help to prevent prickly heat and sun allergies. The easy-to-use products are fast-absorbing, non-greasy, non-sticky and water-resistant. As well as that, they are suitable for vegans and reef-friendly.

What do Mumsnet users say?

They found Ultrasun's products provided the much-needed protection for their children, especially for sensitive skin – as well as being fuss-free. 95% would recommend to a friend.

My son is fair-skinned and prone to redness and prickly heat even when not sunburnt. This cream protected him from everything and was kind on his sensitive skin. It’s waterproof and lasts for hours.

This was the easiest sun cream we have ever used. All three children used it with no fuss at all. I would definitely buy again because it felt so good on the skin and there were no tantrums when applying.

I tend to use spray sun creams so I wasn't sure how I would find this to apply, especially to my wriggly two-year-old. It actually rubbed in very easily and a little bit went a long way. It didn't leave any streaky marks and it also didn't stain the children's clothes or the pushchair.

It did a really good job, nobody was even the slightest bit burnt, even when the kids were in and out of the paddling pool all day.

It was lovely to apply. Not greasy and absorbed into the children’s skin evenly and quickly. It also didn't leave a chalky film that other factor 50 sun protection can.
