Firstly, these nappies are no good for skinny newborn legs, it isn't possible to get them tight enough to stop leaks.
However, once baby chunks up a bit, they are great. They have inserts that can be poppered in, which is much quicker and easier than stuffing pockets. They are also very absorbent and can last 3 hours.
The only problem with poppers is you don't have the flexibility of fit that you get with Velcro. So I have found we go through phases of these being the best nappies I have and then phases of these being no good at all. I would suggest having some of these as part of a selection of different brands.
The only price you pay for the absorbency is they are not very quick to dry. They will dry in 24hrs with a dehumidifier running, otherwise it's 48hrs.
