Clair de Lune Wicker Noah Pod review
Clair de Lune has created this beautiful Wicker Noah Pod, a modern, chic update to a traditional Moses basket
Clair de Lune has more than 75 years of experience in creating nursery products, and we really think it shows. This basket made for a stunning pod for our mini tester to sleep in and, although slightly more expensive than most Moses baskets on the market (£108.99 for the basket itself and a an extra £27.99 for the rocking stand), we think you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more stylish bed for your baby.
But there's much more to the Noah Pod than its good looks. We were equally impressed with the superb craftsmanship of the pod, from the high quality of the basket to the incredibly soft and comfortable bedding. The crib comes complete with a padded liner that covers the interior walls of the basket, two carry handles, coverlet, and a firm, foam mattress for your baby to snuggle on. Even the packaging it came in was beautiful.
With three wicker colours to choose from – cocoa, grey and white – and then more than 10 different colourways for the dressings for each, there are plenty of options that mean the Noah Pod can fit in easily with any colour scheme.
The only real downside is the price. Although you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality, a combined price of £136.98 is pretty steep for something that only lasts for six months. However, this is a high quality and beautiful product that would definitely stand the test of time – so if you're planning to have more than one child, this newborn bed could become a family classic.
Age: Birth until your baby can pull herself up or sit unaided (around six months).
