"Fabulous day out can be expensive though…"
Taking a one and two year old out for the day can be hard work. That's two buggies or a twin one and somewhere that entertains both ages. Whipsnade zoo ticked the boxes so off we went. Free parking near the zoo entrance is a bonus and under 3s are free so it was just 2 adults to pay for. 23.50 each. The zoo is large very Large compared to London zoo. First stop the seal ions which the kids loved then off to see the large rhinos elephants etc. Follow the maps for the best time saving way to cover the park. The giraffes and the so cute baby elephant were real favourites. Isabella aged two also loved the butterfly house. whereas one year old Alice just wanted to play with the zebras. There is a train for extra cost which takes you around the zoo if you want. We just walked and l have never been so close to a lion it is amazing. The viewing platform is right there where they are laying wow fabulous. Go it is worth the cost just take a picnic and wear comfy shoes.
