"Great fun for younger children…"
I visited with my two boys aged 2 and 5. They both thoroughly enjoyed it. I think the entrance fee is reasonable for this sort of attraction(although we were lucky enough to get a free pass from Mumsnet). We stayed for nearly 4 hours including lunch. We paid an extra £1 on entry for a bag of food for the animals - I think this was definitely worth doing as it meant the kids engaged with the animals much more. There's the usual farm animals plus a deer, alpaca, wallabies, rhea... and more. The animals seem well looked after. Some maybe a bit sad or 'needy', but I think that's often the way when they see a visitor with a bag of feed! The Small Animal Barn is a bit run-down so I hope the improvements they have obviously been making to the farm continue.
