Hi readers I am assuming that those reading this are parents or indeed guardians. I have decided to start writing blogs on techniques and products etc which have made parenting easier.
This one is about sleep and a rather unusual product which helped phenomenally so I shall begin by rewinding the clocks a few months. Like all parents I have reached the stage where my eyes have become sagging purple sacks beneath my eyes. I have tried everything to get my little boy to sleep, purchased various options and potion and even plug ins. He is a very active boy and I take him out for long walks and playing in parks and the garden and he still is full of energy. He is 2 years old and I had actually been very lucky with his sleeping until recently.
I did lots of Google searching and chatting to other parents etc when a friend of my partner told her about a book which helps children to sleep. "The rabbit who wants to fall asleep."
She told us she got it from Amazon and that it really does work and that it was worth every penny (not expensive anyway to be honest). I then followed suit and purchased a copy from Amazon myself.
When I got the book I had a quick look through before reading it to my son because it actually has a set of instructions for the reader. Bold writing means the words must be emphasised when reading and when in italics the words should be read slowly and calmly. It works kind of like hypnosis.
I then read it to my son and sure enough by the last page he was drifting off to dreamland and slept through until about 5am which was an absolute result for me. I now read him this story every night as repeated readings actually encourage good regular sleep patterns
