"Liked it a little…"
I loved The Widow so much that I decided to buy The Child, I must say that I wasn't blown away by the story. It started off so well and grabbed my attention, but then I think it just became a little boring in a few places. While a nineteen year old lad is working on a building site in Woolwich he unearths a baby's body skeleton and the police are investigating. Who would kill a baby? It doesn't bear thinking about. Kate who works for the Daily Post is eager to find out more into the baby skeleton that has been found she wonders who was the mother ? Kate wants to get to the bottom of this tragic development with a baby being buried years ago without a name. A lot of mixed reviews are here some readers loved it, with other readers like me found it a borderline read. I think my reason for just liking a little maybe due to me as I have read so many crime books that I'm really looking for a story that's fresh, different and blow me away , so I can brag about it.
