What does your child's dream car look like?
Get your child to show us what their dream car looks like and they could win an exclusive Mumsnet prize of a £250 Amazon voucher and also be in with the chance of winning a trip to Japan!
Toyota are always thinking ahead, wondering what the cars of the future will look like. It takes a lot of imagination to think of new designs, so they've decided to ask the people who might one day be driving those cars!
How to enter
Simply get your child to draw or paint their dream car and give it a cool background so Toyota can imagine what it'd look like on the road. Or in the sky, or even underground. They can't use a computer to do it – that's cheating! And the paper they use must be A3 in size (270-300mm x 420-450mm).
To submit the entry, there's two parts. First of all, upload your child's design to this thread.
Then, post a copy of your child's original artwork and a completed entry form to us at Mumsnet, Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, Studio 6 Deane House Studios, 27 Greenwood Place, London NW5 1LB.
Make sure you sign the form too as a parent or guardian.
The competition closes on 16 December and our very own CarrieMumsnet will choose the top design from each age category.
Who can enter?
Your child must live in the UK and fit into one of these three age categories:
- Under 8
- 8-11 year olds
- 12-15 year olds
Don't forget to tell your friends and family about the contest, too. Maybe even get your child's teacher to turn it into a class project.
What could they win?
For the EXCLUSIVE Mumsnet Dream Cars competition, three winners will each receive a £250 Amazon voucher.
All entries will then be sent to Toyota (GB) PLC and entered into the UK competition which closes on 24 January and followed by awards ceremony on 19 February 2014.
If your DC entry makes if into the final of the UK competition this will be entered into the the worldwide contest and you never know the whole family could be jetting of to Japan for the final prize giving next summer.
Help! What do they draw?
Get your child to think about what their futuristic car might be made of. Will it be made of recycled material? How will it work? What cool features will it have? These are just some of the things Toyota designers think of when they design new concept cars.
