What to expect from a Haven holiday

Haven knows that any holiday is special, whether this is a mini-break or a main family vacation, every moment counts. Haven also understands that if it is a first family outing, or the first time holidaying with them, you can take a couple of days finding your feet and before you know it, you're back home. Bearing this in mind, here is a brief introduction to all the wonderful activities and happenings at Haven Parks.

With 35 parks dotted in 13 different regions, and with this much choice on offer, you are never far from non-stop entertainment. This also gives you the freedom to decide how far you and your family would like to travel, whether it is by car, bus or train, a Haven Park is always in reach. All of the parks have direct access or are within driving distance to a beautiful coastal location, perfect for rock-pooling, building sandcastles and taking advantage of the natural play-parks Britain has to offer.

Whether you are on a budget or wanting something fit for a Royal, Haven have a wide selection of caravans, chalets and apartments available. Caravans aren't just for kids, they give a sense of fun and freedom. Haven has nine grades available all with fully equipped kitchens, modern well-equipped interiors and handy pull-out bed in the lounge. If you'd prefer a more traditional choice, some of the parks have chalets and apartments, so it really is a home from home. Adapted units are also available, with specialist advisors helping you to choose the perfect holiday.

HavenWhat to bring with you

On a Haven Holiday linen is included with any grade above a standard plus, which means less packing for you.

You still need to bring your own towels, tea towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, toothpaste and shower gels and any bathroom accessories you need. Haven is also a self-catering holiday, however every park has a SPAR on site and the option to hire some goods such as travel cots, bed guards and towel bales. Our best advice is to call the park direct before travel to check availability.

Leave the cooking to us

Holidays are about relaxing so why not treat the family and enjoy one of the many choices of restaurants and take-aways across Haven parks? All Haven parks have a Mash and Barrel restaurant, serving up all the family's pub food favourites. They also have Papa John's Pizza delivery service, meaning you don't even need to leave the caravan to feed the family, as well as Burger King and Starbucks on selected sites.

Or have fun cooking in a caravan

With a fully equipped kitchen it really is like a home from home. Over the years, Haven have come across many holidays makers with many different and delicious recipes, perfect for the caravan. You can bring the ingredients yourself or visit the handy SPAR found on every site. Don't forget your salt and pepper!

Activities and entertainment

Haven have more entertainment than you can shake your jazz hands at. With sports, climbing walls, fishing lakes and golf courses for the active members of the family and show-bars, live entertainment and kid clubs for the family that want to relax, no one will be left without something to do. Haven also have heated indoor pools at every park and outdoor pools and splash zones at selected parks included in the cost.
