We are family

Haven recently asked Mumsnetters to share their most treasured holiday memories. The responses were funny and heartwarming and they nearly all had one thing in common, family.

It's hard to think of a holiday memory that doesn't involve the family. Packing the car up to the ceiling with bags piled on top of the kids, singing along to a cringe-worthy family mix tape and setting off to a UK holiday resort with the whole clan in tow. Haven is perfect for families and friends that want to get away together, not get away from each other.

Haven believes the more the merrier and makes it easier to achieve the perfect holiday for everyone. For example, you can request for your caravans to be placed near each other, which means you can have your own space while still being close enough to borrow a cup of sugar. With accommodation that can sleep up to eight people, it's also extremely cost-effective.

What Mumsnetters said:
  • "One of the best holidays we had in the UK was Haven at Prestatyn, there were 18 of us travelling and we were in three caravans next to each other – perfect!"

  • "Holidays as a child were the typical trip to Mablethorpe. My sister and I spent hours on the beach with buckets and spades. Then my own daughter did the same and loved it, simple but fun."

Did you know that Haven have a groups department that makes booking a family holiday even easier? By booking through the groups department it can take away the stress of organising large groups, making Haven the perfect choice to get everyone together to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or whenever you feel the family need to get together.

Another pattern also emerged on the thread and it's something that everyone promises themselves will never happen – turning into your parents. Although admittedly sometimes they do have the best ideas, especially when it comes to holidays.
