Practical cookery was introduced to the curriculum last year, and Anchor is looking to help schools inspire the next generation of bakers with an exciting new initiative.
In April and May, Anchor will be giving away baking kits to schools, including bowls, spoons and aprons. To make this happen, every promotional pack of regular and unsalted butter bought bought will donate up to 10p towards the kits.
They'll also be giving away more baking prizes on their website, including rolling pins, mini ovens and even a kitchen makeover - so make sure you pick up your pack today.
Anchor asked 250 MNers to get baking with their children using Anchor butter - heres what they had to say...
What was your favourite aspect of baking with your DC?
"We bake quite often together and I love to see her enjoying herself and concentrating hard on the weighing or mixing."
"It's always lovely making memories. I always remember baking cakes with my mum and sister so it's nice to think maybe that's how he will remember our times baking!"
Would you use Anchor butter again for your baking?
"I would use it again and was not aware of how long it has been around. They must have perfected the art of making butter after so many years!"
"I would use Anchor again - it was a quality butter and worked really well in the recipe; rich and creamy."
