Take One Picture is the National Gallery’s flagship project for primary schools. The works in this display demonstrate the innovative ways in which schools have responded to Bartolomé Bermejo’s Saint Michael Triumphs over the Devil.
Visitors will be met by monstrous three-dimensional forms. They can find protection with metalwork and lino-print creations, inspired by the Saint Michael’s brilliant armour and feathered wings. Visitors can also marvel at Moorish-influenced cityscapes, trace the silk route and take in the exquisite details of Saint Michael’s robe in pupils’ stunning observational drawings.
