Young shoppers can learn all about the benefits of recycling with arts and craft fun and free face painting at the Ropewalk Shopping Centre this Half Term.
With the help of the centre’s new mascot, Reggie the Recycling Crocodile, children can get creative with a range of workshops being held in the Nuneaton shopping centre.
Running in partnership with Nuneaton and Bedworth Council from Tuesday 30th May to Thursday 1st June, children will be able to enjoy free arts and craft workshops where they can make and decorate fun objects out of materials that are usually mistaken as being recycled.
During the workshops, children will find new uses for egg boxes, coffee cups and seed trays. Plus, there will be free face painting each day and the chance to meet Reggie the Recycling Crocodile, who will be snapping up all the recycling in Ropewalk! The Council’s recycling team will be available to answer any recycling queries parents may have, with free resources on hand to help residents understand how they can correctly recycle as much as possible.
The workshops will run from 11am to 4pm and Reggie the Recycling Crocodile will make appearances at intervals each day.
