ZAP is a FREE one-day workshop for children and young people aged 9-16 who have experienced bullying, funded by the Big Lottery Fund. It is a fun, interactive day that encourages the development of assertiveness skills and raises young people's confidence so that they are able to deal with bullying situations effectively.
Parents and carers must book a place in advance.
They can request an application form at www.kidscape.org.uk/zap. They also attend a separate workshop on the day where they are given expert knowledge of how to effectively support their child.
The format of ZAP workshops for both young people and parents is informal and approached in a way that encourages involvement. The ethos of the workshop is based on acceptance and friendship, which enables even the most nervous and withdrawn child to feel comfortable in participating.

Please note, Mumnset automatically add a message at the end of this advert, saying “times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out” but this is incorrect for this event… please note that times and prices (free) are NOT subject to change and please contact Kidscape for all correspondence, not the venue! Many thanks!
