Exercising in pregnancy is important for lots of great reasons – good blood flow, “happy hormones”, preparing your body for the onslaught of labour, and keeping muscles toned to help with post-natal recovery. My antenatal exercise classes are designed to slowly elevate your heart rate, combining yoga and pilates techniques with gentle aerobic activity to music to improve stamina and increase muscle tone.
