Our co-educational preparatory school encompasses up to 160 pupils aged between seven and eleven years old. An experienced staff team ensures that the children enjoy a seamless transition from the Pre-Preparatory School and a smooth onward progression to the Senior School. The Preparatory School is housed in the historic Stable Court and backs on to an idyllic Walled Garden, originally built by Sir John Vanbrugh in 1708. Whilst there is a rich cultural and historical heritage that permeates every aspect of their day to day life, pupils also benefit from a progressive educational philosophy which incorporates the very best of contemporary practice. Life here is busy, engaging and fulfilling. An atmosphere of conviviality underpins our dynamic curriculum, which offers each child the opportunity to develop their unlimited potential in and out of the classroom.
