A 60 minute yoga class for expectant mothers in Horsell Common, Woking (near Chobham).
Yoga is a great way to nurture your body when you are pregnant. It strengthens and prepares the body for birth while also stretching the tight muscles often associated with pregnancy. Yoga also helps expectant mothers connect with their breath, an important part of managing labour as well as learning to relax and connect with their unborn babies.
The classes I teach for expectant mothers consist of a relaxing flow of postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama) and relaxation techniques (yoga nidra) to help calm the mind and relax the body.
Please check with your doctor or midwife before signing up to the class that they are happy for you to take part. Suitable whether you have attended yoga before becoming pregnant or never done it before!
Class details: 1 hour class – just turn up. Please arrive 5mins early if you are new to the class to complete a registration form.
Price: £9 per person drop-in or 5 classes for £40.
