An exhibition of words, paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures by artists and writers depicting the coastline and rivers of Suffolk.

Walk the wild Suffolk coast – from the ruins of Covehithe church, to the pier at Felixstowe, via Dunwich, Snape and the Deben estuary. This is Tidal Margins, a major exhibition of art, photography and writing at the Ipswich Art School Gallery, and the culmination of three years’ work by six artists, two photographers and four writers, all inspired by the Suffolk Coast.

Art and writing workshops for children of all ages are offered by the Tidal Margins project. Children can make wire sculptures on 23rd July and can combine words and pictures in a concertina book. A total of seven workshops run right through July and August, so bring your children along for a chance to make their own work inspired by the sea. Cost £3.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
