Stockport County Football Club are an English football club based in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Formed in 1883 as Heaton Norris Rovers, they adopted their current name in 1890 after the creation of the County Borough of Stockport. They have played at Edgeley Park since 1902, traditionally in blue and white. They are nicknamed The Hatters after the town's former hatmaking industry
