The IMPACT Wellbeing programme is for young people to use in schools, colleges and other settings. The programme was developed by former secondary school teachers from their experience in education, health and therapy. It is a very easy to learn routine and consists of self massage, stretching and breathing exercises, peer (shared) massage and relaxation techniques. The recipients are seated and remain fully clothed during the sessions. The focus is to give young people skills to help them manage stress and improve their physical, mental and emotional health. This will result in feelings of calmness, better concentration, more empathy and improved self-esteem. The programme lasts over six sessions.
