Massage is extremely beneficial for mums-to-be, but it can be expensive too. Come and learn some self-help massage and acupressure techniques that can help to ease the most common aches and pains of pregnancy, such as backache, sciatica, nausea, and oedema. You will also learn which parts of the body must not be massaged during pregnancy, and which positions and oils should be avoided.
During the classes, massage is carried out fully clothed and seated / lying on mats. You will need to bring a massage partner as you will practice on each other. This does not have to be your partner; it can be a friend, your mum, sister, etc., as the massage routines we teach you benefit everyone; not just mums-to-be! Mums-to-be must be in the second trimester onwards, and will need to complete a consultation form before starting the course.
