Baby yoga is a lovely session for carers and babies 6 weeks to walking. It is a fun session in which baby will move in new ways and experience new things, helping their physical, sensory and emotional development. It combines movements and stretches for baby with gentle stretches for the parent or carer, great for some gentle exercise for mum following birth.
It gives a relaxed calm environment in which to spend time together, promoting relaxation and unity. The classes teach parents how to do yoga with their baby at home, giving them the tools to help their baby and ease aliments such as constipation, wind and colic. Giving them techniques to try and holding positions to use at home to calm baby when they are fussy, fractious or in pain.
Classes 50 mins, for babies 6/8 weeks to walking.
Toddler yoga is a more dynamic class. It uses stories, songs and sensory toys to encourage movement and support physical, emotional and social development. It can help develop balance, strength, flexibility, relaxation and mindful breathing. It is a fun, vibrant environment in which to share some time together and enjoy something new.
