Millets Farm are very excited to be working with Mrs Bun the Baker. Throughout 2017 we'll be delivering a series of Children's Cookery Classes. Each class will be themed; from Easter, to strawberries and berries, through to apples and pumpkins, and finishing the year with a Bonfire finale.
Mrs Bun the Baker will be making the most of the fresh produce grown on the farm, and children will get very hands on making some yummy delights.
On each date, we will run 2 workshops. The morning workshop aimed at younger children and the afternoon session for older children (age brackets stated below).
Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential.
Every child needs to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
Saturday 8th April. Easter-tastic!
Morning Menu: Bake Easter bunny shaped bread (with dips and veg sticks), followed by yummy Easter cakes.
Afternoon Menu: The workshop starts with a visit to the produce fields to pick some homegrown asparagus. Return to the kitchen to make Bunny bread, followed by Easter themed cakes and an Asparagus quiche.
Morning workshops are aimed at 2-5 years.
Afternoon workshops are suitable for 6+ years.
