Baby Yoga complements baby massage beautifully in that it builds on your baby’s physical and mental developmental milestones and will aid your baby’s brain development and your baby’s sense of co-ordination, balance and sensory and motor skills.
A 6-week Baby Yoga Course that will help to develop your baby's neural development, sensory motor skills, balance and co-ordination. Baby Yoga is also wonderful for settling babies and soothing wind and colic.
Classes also include gentle postnatal yoga moves to help strengthen and tone the body after birth, plus a relaxation phase for mums! Suitable from 8-weeks to crawling.
Classes typically run for 6 weeks but may vary from teacher to teacher. Each session lasts 60-90 minutes and will include a dry massage routine for your baby and a range of baby exercises that will culminate in a baby exercise routine for the whole body.
You don’t need to bring anything other than baby! Mats, cushions and towels are supplied. There are baby changing facilities and we provide a bottle/jar warmer if needed. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing so that you can enjoy the stretches.
Biscuits and other refreshments are also provided.
