Facilities at Pretty Corner Woods include two car parks at either end of the woods – free parking is available all year. Pretty Corner Tea Rooms is next to the wood offering selection of food and drinks. Or bring a picnic and take advantage of the picnic area with plenty of room.
There is a bus stop situated next to the woods with links to Sheringham and the surrounding area.
Green Flag award winning Pretty Corner Woods, located on the outskirts of Sheringham, is jointly managed by NNDC countryside team and the Woodlands Trust.
Look for the fluttering wings of bats, bullfinches, kingfishers, butterflies, buzzards, owls and woodpeckers. Tread carefully around the woodland flowers and ferns. Look out for the scarlet flowers on the red campion, and the white tips of wood sorrel. If you’re really quiet, you might even see a deer munching on the grass, or spot a slow worm sunning itself.
