A free of charge drop in breastfeeding support session in the centre of Norwich. This session takes place on a Thursday morning from 10am-12 midday at the West Pottergate Health Centre, Earlham Road, Norwich, NR2 4BX.
Subject to arrangement, private consultations either at a mother’s home or at an agreed location.
Training with Jan on lactation and related issuesWhat happens at the free of charge drop in breastfeeding support session?
Mothers and their supporters (baby’s father, grandmother for example) are welcomed and offered refreshments and invited to sit and wait in the group.
Jan or Nikki will see each mother and baby pair in turn; sometimes this happens on a first come, first served basis but often it depends upon which baby is awake!
A verbal breastfeeding history up to the present day will be asked of each mother, and she’ll be asked to breastfeed her baby to enable her to be supported in the most appropriate way.
Everyone is welcome to return to the drop in session and there is no limit on the amount of times attended.
Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
