In this session pupils will experience a sense of Tudor homes through the life of a London Spice Merchant. Pupils will touch and smell the herbs and spices which would have perfumed the Merchant’s business and domestic space. They will also have the opportunity to make a Tudor chest, containing spices, to take home. This is a unique opportunity to learn about Tudor home life, through a creative and multi-sensory approach. The session can be adapted to suit pupils with all types of learning needs. We have experience of working with PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD and other complex needs. You can download our Schools SEN Programme 2013/2014 here. Please ring Emma or Janice on 0207 749 6044 or email bookings@geffrye-museum.org.uk to discuss the Special Educational Needs of your pupils and how we can work together to provide the best individual session for your class.
