Yoga provides a range of physical and emotional benefits that can enhance and lighten the experience of pregnancy and birth. Practising yoga in pregnancy has many benefits. Regular practice gives you a strong sense of awareness of your changing body and enables you to connect with your growing baby. Yoga can also ease some of the aches and discomforts that can occur in pregnancy.
The classes are designed to promote well-being throughout your pregnancy and help you prepare in mind and body for giving birth. Each class will include a gentle warm up, flowing movement and stretches combined with breath work, and a deep relaxation.
Suitable from the 16th week of pregnancy. No prior knowledge of yoga is needed.
