We will be working together to create new habits (good ones that you choose) for the mind and body.
Classes feature a wide range of yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques, focusing on one particular aspect of yoga practice each month. They are suitable for beginners and intermediate students and offer modifications for sensitive areas (backs, knees and necks). Postures are taught in stages to help each student challenge themselves at the right level for their body.
Hatha yoga is an ancient system, originally devised in India, to bring about maximum well-being in each individual who practices. It is a holistic practice, working on improving your mind/body connection, and helping you find space and tranquility within yourself. Physically it is a great workout with a huge range of benefits including: improved stamina, toned and flexible muscles and better posture.
