Walk2Run is a beginner’s running session designed to take you from being completely inactive to potentially being able to participate in The Great Manchester Run. Whatever your running goal 1k or 10k your instructor will help you reach it. This session is for adults 16+.
The ParkLives programme is designed to help people in Manchester become a bit more active by removing barriers such as cost, location and travelling distance – and by providing a sociable, friendly and welcoming atmosphere to try out a variety of different activities for all ages and abilities.
The aim is to encourage as many people as possible to join in the free sessions running throughout the year at seven major parks including Heaton Park, Platt Fields Park, and Chorlton Water Park.
