Yoga for Tweens is on on Tuesdays. Siobhan Power is a yoga instructor for children, teens and adults with ten years’ experience in childcare and coaching. She founded Calmer Kids yoga which is a company that sends yoga teachers into schools as she strongly believes that by teaching children mindfulness and yoga, we are giving them the tools to successfully face the obstacles of everyday life.
Dance Skills classes on Wednesdays include floorplay for exploring fitness, strength and flexibility and a relaxation section at the end. Expect a workout gained through a mixture of freedom and form, whereby the dancers can explore, express and expand their own movement temperament and dance choreographed sequences. This combination aids young people in maintaining a balance between, on the one hand expressing and creating, and on the other hand learning and interpreting a given piece of work. The class provides a fitness fusion that aids groundedness as well as lightness and agility; strength as well as alignment.
