Qigong translates literally as: Life Energy Cultivation. It is an ancient Chinese mindful movement practice integrating postures, breathing techniques and focused intention, strengthening connections between mind and body. The practice evolved in China from ancient Taoism, Tibetan Yoga and Western developmental movement studies. According to Taoism, Qigong helps to develop human potential by allowing access to higher realms of awareness.
