Join us in the Music Gallery to hear performances and talks based on our musical instrument collection, including our 1772 Kirckman harpsichord.

25th October: Join us for a talk by Tony Johnson about the Hoffmann lute in our collection. Tony will play a lute he made based on his technical drawing of our Hoffmann lute.

29th November: Enjoy a performance on our 18th century harpsichord by Masumi Yamamoto, accompanied by the rarely heard viola d’amore.

Wednesday 28th December: Join us for a demonstration of the ocarina, an ancient wind instrument, then get the chance to play one yourself in a workshop!

31st January 2017: Join us for a live performance on our 1772 Kirckman harpsichord.
