Sheep take centre stage this May half term at the annual Kent Life Heritage Farm Park Sheepstakes event.
Visitors who flock to the award-winning attraction, near Maidstone, can see the Kent Life team help relieve the animals of their winter coats in skillful sheep-shearing demonstrations (Tuesday to Saturday) while our sheep dogs, Jake and Barney, will take some time out from their herding duties to meet the crowds.
Ferret-racing, family games on the green and farm rides add to the rural fun. Creative children will also enjoy showing off their skills in the Paint a Pot Studio*.
Animal-lovers can explore the working farm, where they’ll find pigs, sheep, ducks, goats, alpacas, horses and ponies, and even enjoy a hug with some of the farm’s smaller animals in Cuddle Corner.
Kent Life is the county’s premier rural heritage experience, set in 28 acres of glorious countryside. Kent Life has large indoor play areas to explore, so there’s entertainment guaranteed, whatever the weather.
*A small additional charge applies at the Paint a Pot Studio.
