Yoga provides a calm strength and inner balance when faced with the many physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy. Carefully adapted poses gently open your body and alleviate some of the symptoms associated with pregnancy. Gentle opening postures and breath exercises tone your birthing muscles preparing your mind and body holistically to birth your baby lightly.
I have been practising yoga since 1998 and qualified with my Yoga Alliance teaching accreditation in March 2011. My experience spans a broad range of styles and teachers, including Jivamukti, Iyengar, Bikram, Hatha and Vinyasa Flow.
I am a qualified Birthlight perinatal and mother & baby yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance RYPT qualification).
