The themes of classes will explore preparing for motherhood.
Subjects such as the pressure we place on ourselves to be a “good” mother, our ability to self- nurture, adapting to massive change in every area of life, bonding with baby.
This will be based around strengthening muscles that support the growing baby.
Mum to be will learn to respond to postural changes, and develop the awareness of the pelvic floor muscles.
Mothers can expect to learn labour circuits in preparation for birth and how to manage all the various ailments surfacing, due to the constant, shifting centre of gravity.
Breath is the opiate to pain relief. All the different birthing breathes will be taught for greater control in labour and will focus on energising, expanding breath capacity and lengthening exhalation.
NADA YOGA (SOUND)
Nada Yoga is incorporated to create space in the pelvis, relieve pain during labour and directly release the pelvic floor ready for birthing.
Deep relaxation, to leave you feeling clam, rested and rejuvenated. The practice will encourage bonding with your unborn baby.
