Empowering Yoga is a modern fusion of Hatha Yoga with the principles of Vinyasa Yoga, that encompasses a range of free flowing movements from simple, mindful postures to empowering and dynamic sequences all incorporating the breath.
Joanne Cohen's founding principles are to develop and strengthen core muscles, being the abdomen, obliques and the muscles that support the spine. This reinforces foundations and stability in mind and body. Joanne has practised Yoga for 20 years, beginning her journey at the Sivananda Vedanta centre in Putney, moving on to classical Hatha yoga through to the dynamics of Hip-Hop Yoga with renowned teacher Neil Patel.
