Wildflowers provides young children with experiences primarily outdoors which inspire exploration, creativity and the imagination. Our sensitive and reflective educators care for the children’s well-being, encourage them when meeting challenges, nurture the development of independence and empathy, and stimulate their inquisitive minds and appreciation of the wonders of nature. We observe each Wildflowers child attentively to enable us to help them flourish and move on with basic abilities and skills, well-equipped for their future learning – confident, resilient, attentive, considerate and self-motivated. We spend the morning exploring and playing in nearby woods, meadows, parkland and gardens. Midday the group returns to the building for a quiet lie-down rest and a substantial warm meal. In the afternoon the children do artistic and practical activities.
