Pregnancy is a special journey in life. It can be simultaneously beautiful, daunting, uncomfortable and scary. Yoga can play a huge role in helping the mother-to-be get in touch with her body and the changes it is going through. It provides a time to listen and connect to your baby away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and it can help eliminate some of the discomforts experienced during pregnancy by gently moving the body in a safe and gentle manner. Breathing and relaxation techniques will also help to prepare you for birth. Yoga can also help your body recover from birth and the changes that come with the new addition to your life. And… it’s a great way to connect with other mothers in your community and catch up with a cup of tea, cake and chat after class!
