Postnatal Pilates is a specialist Pilates class that welcomes all mums and babies from six weeks after birth, 10-12 weeks post c-section, up until your little one is crawling.
Only after pregnancy are we able to work towards an entirely new centre starting from a plain canvas. It is a brilliant time to start or return to Pilates. The practice will increase your body awareness, wellbeing and self confidence and retrain breathing and abdominal support. Through the classes you will learn how to regain strength safely, relieve tension and stabilise the still very mobile body. Pilates works functionally and will enable you to transfer what you have learned to make positive changes in your everyday life.
The classes have a relaxed pace with plenty of modifications to suit any individual needs and will take into account how far into your postnatal recovery you are.
