Children will love the summer adventures planned including the popular Kings and Queens event from Monday 1 – Wednesday 3 August, an occasion for children to impress royalty, uncover the crucial curtsey, bow like a pro and train to amuse without being a fool.
This is hotly followed by the Ugly Bug Safari on Monday 8 – Wednesday 10 August; an event which gives kids the opportunity to grab magnifying glasses and join the big hunt for some mini beasts and discover a bug’s life.
Curtains rise for mini leading men and daring divas at Curtain up for the Theatrical 30s on Monday 15 – Wednesday 17 August. Young visitors can shine in the limelight as they take to the stage 1930s style and discover theatre from the great golden age.
Children need to choose their side and start their training at Heroes and Villains (Monday 22 – Wednesday 24 August). Summer is rounded off with Train the Troops on Monday 29 – Wednesday 31 August, where little ones can to train to become a home-front hero.
For visitors looking to relax in Eltham Palace’s landscaped gardens, Lazy Jazz Sundays will return to the property this summer, every Sunday from 17 July – 21 August.
