Billed as the largest sponsored bike ride in South East London, Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice’s Big Bike Ride offers cyclists, of all abilities, the chance to cycle the length of the River Thames from Erith through to Greenwich. With the majority of the route following the Thames Cycle Path, the Big Bike Ride is ideal for families, as well as experienced and novice cyclists, wanting to enjoy a leisurely day’s cycling and the riverside views as they go.
For those wanting to brush up on their cycle skills, the Hospice have teamed up with Now’s The Time who are offering cycle course so that people needing some extra support can be ready for the Big Bike Ride. Now’s The Time are also offering a bike hire scheme at Thamemere Leisure Centre.
