Baby and Mama Relax is a 6 week course of gentle stretching and toning exercises for new mums, involving floor work, ball work and even the babies themselves. A gradual re-introduction to finding and engaging those essential pelvic floor and core muscles! The focus is on fun and relaxation – it gives you a chance to unwind, de-stress and share with other new mums.
This is a chance to do something for yourself, without having to find childcare for your baby. It is suitable to come to from when your baby is 6 weeks old, or 8 weeks if you have had a Caesarean. It is a good way to ease yourself gently back into exercise after your baby's birth – a stepping stone until you feel ready for “proper” exercise!
The course also includes time at the end of every session to have a chat with the other new mums over a cup of tea and a biscuit. A lovely way to meet new friends, and share your thoughts on parenthood – the good, the bad and the ugly!
Groups for Baby and Mama Relax will be small, and pre-booking is essential.
